I guess what I’m saying…there was only one year, 10^th grade, where nothing had happened yet…after that is when Faubus closed the high schools, and I did a lot of moving around.  Wound up going even to Oakland, CA…but for me it wasn’t a matter of, you know you got the world is kind of exploding a little bit, and I was supposed to be looked at in a kind of way well…you can just ignore all of that, and I’m seeing what Brother’s going through, you know I’m watching everything that’s happening with him…matter of fact, that’s when he hooked up with A. Phillip Randolf and he started, Brother started a recruitment program, and that’s how I got in to 28 in the first place. But, uh, there was a lot of things happening, there’s a lot of things happening at the same time, and I had seen all this happening, and again, I said to myself, I’m not going to go this academic route. I wanna see what else is going on in this world.  Because, you know, there’s too much going on out here.
